APPLICATION
REPRODUCTIVE SCIENTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Eunice Kennedy Shriver, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Cancer Institute,
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The American Society for Reproductive
Medicine, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Bayer HealthCare, Burroughs
Wellcome Fund, The March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation,
The Society for Gynecologic Investigation, The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Inc.
The Reproductive Scientist Development Program
consists of a two-year award for training, and a three-year
establishment period guaranteed by the sponsoring department/institution.
This application should be completed with the entire program
in mind, not just the two-year award period.
Letter of Intent. Before submitting this
application, we require that the applicant submit a letter
of intent to the RSDP office indicating:
name of Department of OB/GYN sponsor, name and address of
proposed scientific mentor, and brief description of research
project. This will be reviewed by the Executive Committee
for appropriateness, vis a vis the goals of the RSDP
awards, and feedback will be provided to potential applicants.
Deadlines to Commence the Reproductive Scientist
Development Program July 1, 2011:
Receipt of Letter of Intent: August 15, 2010
Receipt of Application: October 1, 2010
Deadline for Receipt of Application: October 1, 2010, to start Program July 1, 2011.

Interviews of candidates by the Selection Committee
will take place in November at a time and Location to
be announced. Travel to site for interviews is the responsibility
of sponsoring OB/GYN Department. |
If you wish to know date of receipt and acceptance of application,
enclose a self-addressed, stamped postcard. Please mail One(1)
original and 18 copies of completed application
(see attached checklist) packet to:
