CLS Balanced Scorecard

THE CLS ORGANIZATION What is The Balanced Scorecard? The Balanced Scorecard is a Performance Management system for tracking our goals and progress toward our strategic visions. It measures performance from four distinct perspectives: Financial, Customer, Internal Process and Innovation & Learning. It allows us to effectively consolidate our existing initiatives into four quadrants in order to make the best use of our efforts. Why The Balanced Scorecard? In evaluating our progress in 2001, we realized that
the value of our accomplishments were not always apparent due to a lack
of a measurement and reporting system that tracked the progress of meeting
our goals. More importantly, we realized that there was a lack of alignment
of our goals and initiatives at the unit levels within CLS. What are the Steps of The Balanced Scorecard? The Balanced Scorecard is implemented in a series of
steps resulting in quantitative and qualitative data used for annual and
long range planning. This will help us to move toward a level of performance
consistent with our predefined goals and objectives. |
